To support the bar trade fully reopening in 2022 we are running a special Maharani Mixology Competition with a prize of a €500 one for all voucher.
The theme of the competition is ‘Rebel’, going against the grain, the revolutionary and the rebellious.
Liberating spirit & spice Maharani Gin is a balanced mix of spice, citrus and sweetness rather than a juniper, pine forward traditional gin.
Maharani Gin brings to life the colour, vibrancy and flavours of Kerala, southern India in an Irish gin crafted in Cork. Maharani is a fusion of our founders, Robert & Bhagya, two creative cultures echoing unexpected connections. The name of our distillery is also ‘Rebel City Distillery’
Cork is famously known as the ‘Rebel County’ for its rebellious history, most notable in the Irish War of Independence but there are many examples that predate this. Kerala is also known for its revolutionaries and rebel spirits.
We wanted this sense of innovation and creativity against the odds to be instilled into everything we make here.
