Situated in the vibrant Cork Docklands, our boutique distillery calls the former Ford factory building home—an iconic industrial landmark in Cork city. We’ve gone to great lengths to preserve the rich heritage of this historic structure, meticulously restoring its original features to their full glory.

6. Embracing the circular economy: After distillation, the spent botanical waste finds new life as compost. We’ve partnered with our neighbors at CUSP (Cork Urban Soil Project) to transform this waste into valuable compost, promoting a circular approach to waste management.

ben w2024-04-13A unique tour in a unique historical location for a unique gin. A unique place in cork! The amazing vibe from the building comes from the great artistic and Indian decoration, as well as from the owner herself (who was our guide). The tour is a mix of fun historical quizzes, observation skills and spices discovery. It’s a great activity to do with family and friends. The gin, the absinthe and the vodka are all great and flavourful. No wonder they won some awards!

I'm always keen to find something new whenever I come home and this tour is right up there with the best of them so far. Bhagya was a great storyteller and we hugely enjoyed learning about their inspirations for creating all their spirits and the importance of blending both their backgrounds to create something uniquely Cork. Tastes pretty good too! Definitely recommending to anyone who's travelling to Cork!

It was very informal and the tour guide(also part owner of the distillery) spoke with passion and knowledge about Cork and the distillery, by explaining the history of both. The tasting session was very good and I left knowing a lot more about Gin and its origins. Would definitely recommend a visit.

La absenta nos sorprendió tanto que nos llevamos unos cuantos botes de vuelta a España para dar de probar a la familia y a las amistades (también nos llevamos ginebra). La mejor que hemos probado nunca, sin duda. La visita guiada es muy recomendable y necesaria para conocer en profundidad la producción y la historia de la destilería. Cuando conoces a Baghya y a todo el equipo no solo te enamoras de lo que producen, adoras también la historia que hay detrás. El buen trabajo, la responsabilidad y el compromiso se notan y mucho. Es un gran proyecto del que disfrutar y disfrutar con otros. Visita IMPRESCINDIBLE cuando estás en Cork y con mucho vínculo con lo local también (no voy a hacer spoiler... ¡Ve y pruébalo).

Be it for a distillery tour, spirits tasting, cocktail competition, there is always something fun going on. TheirMaharani gin is amazing and the owner Bhagya is great at story telling and has a great energy, she will make you feel welcome.

She told us a lot about the History of the distillery and it all works. All spirits were really good but we absolutely Loved the Gin. Thank you for the great experience.

The building itself is already worth a visit. Lots of history and authentic details from its previous purposes still remain today. On top of that the distillery has cleverly added details and art to that. Make sure to go here, if you have the chance.

She gave us a very informative talk on the history of the place, how the company started and the making of the gin. We are all now experts on gin and making cocktails 🍸 and tasting them. Everybody went home very very happy. Would highly recommend this distillery for an event.
